If you've always wanted to learn how web pages are created, designed then published online, then this introductory class will get your feet wet enough to dive deep into HTML5 and CSS3, even with little or no computer experience. Learn how to create HTML5 web pages, structure the page using CSS3, add media contents, then publish it online via FTP program and web hosting account. Students with little or no computer experience can master this Internet language. It's free so you have nothing to lose. There is no obligation. No credit card required. You will need to bring your own laptop with Internet connection. If you have a domain name and a web hosting account, please make sure to have them available during class. We will try to cover all of the subject topics below, if time permits. This is a free class and it is our way of giving back to our local community. At the end of the 90-Minute Free Introductory HTML5 and CSS3 class, you would be able to post web pages online without any hesitation.

DISCLAIMER: Our introductory class outline and select HTML5 lessons and exercises are designed to get you familiarized with creating, managing and publishing a web page online. and apply what you learned to your current online business. These lessons will help you gain control over your online business immediately; and it will free you from the technical shackles of not knowing. Please note, that these classes are NOT accredited with any City, State or Federal school programs nor for any type of web authoring certifications program. You will not receive school credits for taking this class nor will it be part of any curriculum towards higher learning. File Transfer Protocol (FTP) is a small piece of software whose primary function is to move files between computers e.g. from your computer to your web hosting server and vice versa. You will be provided with an FTP program for you to keep and use. We will discuss and practice the use of an FTP program.

Cascading Style Sheets
Cascading Style Sheet (CSS) is an approved standard website design language that dictates the web page look and feel - its design layout. We will touch up on this programming language just enough to know which variable, as a student, we are allowed to change in order to control your website's cascading style sheets.

Formatting texts can place emphasis on certain parts of the page to bring about more attention. It could be a promotional or important relevant information that you want readers to immediately place focus on. We will cover several ways to go about this.
